Two NIH-funded consortia, the Electronic Medical Records and Genomics (eMERGE) and Implementing Genomics in Practice (IGNITE) network are collaborating to develop a new resource, the Clinical Decision Support KnowledgeBase (CDS-KB) to catalog and share clinical decision support (CDS) implementation artifacts and design considerations for genomic medicine programs from a broad community of institutions. The resource supports the sharing of artifacts to serve as a collection of practical experiences and resources to enable more rapid translation and implementation of genomic medicine. Access to the artifacts requires a user account and acceptance of terms of use to restrict re-dissemination. Additionally, a public webinar series as part of the “Learning” section of the repository is intended for clinical implementations leverages synchronicity of multiple networks and consortiums goals, e.g. eMERGE, IGNITE, and others.
